The Hanoi Kyudo was founded in the summer of 2012 by Nguyễn Hoàng Hoa, Sensei Suda Takuya, and a group of young enthusiasts passionate about Japanese culture. With the desire to introduce and spread the values of Truth, Goodness, and Beauty that Kyudo embodies, Hanoi Kyudo organizes annual beginner courses for those interested in learning this traditional martial art.
Additionally, the club collaborates in organizing and participating in workshops, exchange events, and both domestic and international competitions. Currently, Hanoi Kyudo receives guidance from Sensei Watanabe and Aramaki and holds practice sessions every Sunday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Thanh Xuan District Cultural Center.
Over the past 10 years, Hanoi Kyudo has not only been a place for practicing and improving Kyudo skills in line with the International Kyudo Federation (IKYF) standards but also a hub for cultural exchange among both Vietnamese and international Kyudo enthusiasts.
